This morning's Bible study continued to look at the church at Laodicea. These people had not only lost their zeal, but more importantly, their usefulness for the Lord's kingdom. It is vital not only to keep in mind the symbolism throughout the book of "Revelation"; but also to have an understanding of the culture at the time and knowing the Old Testament Scriptures. Having this knowledge helps to understand the scene that is envisioned in chapter 4.
