"Four Problems for Those Who Trust in Themselves"

A follow-up sermon from this morning's message, Eric looks at how there is a great problem when one places their trust in themselves.  Jesus gave a great illustration when He spoke of the Pharisee and the Publican (tax collector) in Luke chapter 18.  The Pharisee merely wanted to be seen and offer up praises to himself, whereas the tax collector knew that he was a sinner and desired mercy.  All need the grace and mercy of God, and it is only by trusting our lives in His word can we have the proper view of ourselves.
