First Timothy 3:16 is a bit of an enigmatic verse of inspired Scripture. Many expositors believe it was a hymn sung by the first century Christians as a declaration of their faith. Whether that is true or not is uncertain, but we can learn a lot about living lives that are pleasing to God as we delve into this verse and discover its meaning for us today. We will learn that the Holy Spirit through the pen of the Apostle Paul is directing us to follow the example of the most godly person to ever walk the face of the earth.
