Although they get a bad rap, the church at Thessalonica demonstrates truths that all Christians can and should learn. Three lessons are taught in 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 - turning to God, serving the true and living God, and waiting on the Lord Jesus Christ to rescue us from the wrath to come.
