Most unfortunately, misunderstandings about the true nature of the kingdom of God have abounded even prior to its onset at Pentecost. The leaders of Jesus' day time and time again showed their faulted conception of the kingdom throughout His imistry despite His repeated corrections. Many today carry on the legacy of these adversaries of Christ in the name of Christianity.
