Every person who has ever lived has done so in the sight of God. Even so, there are certain circumstances that bring us metaphorically face to face with God. This of course is perfectly illustrated in the life of Pharaoh Thutmose III who ruled at the time of the Israelite exodus from Egypt and Ten Plagues.
