Eric presents this message that Christians need to take to heart.  The world is constantly seeking to rid itself of righteous individuals.  It is only through faith in God that is found in Scriptures that can strengthen and give the believer the necessary boldness to face the devil's bombardments.  Thankfully, Jesus would not back down from facing the cross and the humiliating torture, which He willing took upon our behalf.
