A very popular concept is that it makes no difference what one believes in religion. This concept is one of the greatest obstacles to teaching others the gospel. If it does not make any difference what one believes, there is no need to study the questions and issues that divide the religious world. This falsehood is one of the devil's most effective tools. Several scriptural reasons can be given as to why we believe it makes a difference what one believes.
