Why We Observe The Lord's Supper Every Week

Series: Why?

On the night that Jesus was betrayed, He observed one last Passover with His disciples. At that "Last Supper", Jesus established the regular observance of the Lord's Supper. He said to do it "often". The Scriptures provide a handful of passages that explain what constitutes "often" and history validates that the early church observed the Lord's Supper EVERY first day of EVERY week. Any Christian desiring to serve God as He desires to be served will follow suit. Any observance otherwise is to act presumptuously in sin.
