Jesus used two familiar motifs to explain the mixture in the kingdom of Heaven, a mixture that awaits separation at the judgment. He spoke of the kingdom being like a field of wheat in which weeds are sown as well as being like the dragnet of fishermen which captures all fish, both good and bad.
