At the request of a few of our members, we had a special song service in which we organized songs with unfamiliar lyrics into five common themes where we explored those same themes, connected them to Bible passages, and then sang them. The five themes were: 1) A Call To Remember Gethsemane ('Tis Midnight And On Olive's Brow & Night With Ebon Pinion); 2) A Call To Priorities (O Thou Fount Of Every Blessing & Jesus, Rose Of Sharon); 3) A Call To Arms (To Christ Be True & The Banner Of The Cross); 4 A Call To Steadfastness (Let The Lower Lights Be Burning); 5) A Call For Healing (Did You Think To Pray?).
