Mary gave birth to the physical embodiment of God in her virgin birth. For this reason, she should be regarded as blessed. However, the exaltation and adoration given her by many clearly embodies a huge subset of false doctrine that actually belittles her role and contradicts how Jesus viewed Mary and how He told others to view her.
